Recently a Boy Scout Troop that wore an unauthorized patch calling themselves the Border Patrol and had an image of a fleeing illegal immigrant family on the patch has drawn attention to the Troop as being racist. Latin groups sent emails to the Boy Scouts of America which made the organization come to the decision to tell the Border Patrol Troop to remove the unauthorized patch or be disbanded.

This is another example of minority groups backed by Democrats using the race card to intimidate anyone they can and to overuse political correctness to attack Traditional American Organizations like the Boy Scouts. This particular troop does have Mexican-Americans on it and it was a Mexican American Troop Member that discovered the Border Patrol image used for the patch in Texas on a sign that is commonly used in Border States to warn drivers of illegal aliens crossing the street usually at night in an unsafe manner as they enter the country. The sign is used to protect people who are committing an illegal act from getting hit by a car.

I live in San Diego and I see these signs all the time and I have to admit the first time I saw the sign years ago, I did laugh. It is a comical depiction of a Father, Mother, and young daughter on the run at such a fast pace that the child’s feet aren’t touching the ground. I think the troop member saw similar humor in it and that went into his suggestion for use of the patch. The image is not racist, it is true. Families cross everyday and I have had to dodge families on the road at night that try to cross out of nowhere and dare to play Illegal Alien Frogger. The image is not racist; it isn’t even brown, it’s yellow and black. The family isn’t wearing a poncho or a sombrero and it certainly isn’t on a burro trying to cross the border. There are no stereotypical images on the sign. It could be any ethnic group; it isn’t like the sign is showing the family running towards a leaf blower or a Home Depot parking lot. This is nonsense and typical Liberal Shenanigans to protect a segment of their voter base or future voter base depending on how voter ID laws go.
I’m so tired of political correctness and Liberals going over their credit limit on the race card that I guarantee you if Liberals ran a casino and if you were white and tried to play blackjack the dealer would always have a race card showing and guaranteed 21 on every deal. This nonsense has to stop and people and organizations must stop backing down to these whiny race carders. The Liberals would probably suggest replacing the Border Patrol Patch with an Alter boy patch as long as it shined the Catholic Church in a negative light with their past issues combined with Boy Scouts past issues, they’d be ok with that. I say replace the patch with a Brian Terry patch but Obama would step in and Eric Holder would sue the Boy Scouts and make them wear a Fast and Furious Patch instead.
