Earlier this week, The Today Show on NBC aired an edited version of George Zimmerman’s 911 call prior to him shooting and killing Trayvon Martin. The edited version that aired made Zimmerman appear to be racist in his statement to the police when he said and I’m paraphrasing that “Trayvon appeared to be up to no good and he looks black”. What NBC left out was the police asking Zimmerman if the suspect looked White, Hispanic, or Black. Zimmerman’s ‘black comment’ was actually a descriptive response to the cop’s question.

I am not defending Zimmerman or even Trayvon in this matter until all the facts are in. My opinion based on very limited facts is that Zimmerman was overzealous in his pursuit of Trayvon. Zimmerman was acting as a faux member of law enforcement carrying a gun on a neighborhood watch. I understand the basics of the Florida “Stand Your Ground” self-defense law that has kept Zimmerman out of jail up to this point. I feel his defense is a stretch because he was not standing on ground that he owned or he was not blindly attacked by Trayvon because he was in pursuit of Trayvon. I understand that Zimmerman has the right to defend himself but you can’t blame Trayvon for defending himself when being pursued in the dark by a guy with a gun when Trayvon is unarmed. The situation is the best example of being in the wrong place at the wrong time and an exercise in poor judgment by Zimmerman. My opinion with limited facts is that Zimmerman is guilty of manslaughter or justifiable homicide, not a hate crime but that is for the courts to decide but if this case isn’t handled correctly you will have people in Florida who are grilling burgers in their backyard, killing people who are walking by who look suspicious and claim they have the right to do so under “The Stand Your Ground Beef Law”.

NBC has wrongly tried to influence this case by throwing their journalistic integrity, what little they had left, out the window by airing an edited manipulative version of the 911 call which is not helping the situation at all. Other networks have been guilty of this with the airing of the video of Zimmerman at the police station that made it appear he had no injuries which made people question Zimmerman’s story of being attacked by Trayvon. An enhanced version came out later that did show injuries but the damage had be done and this is why we have to let Due Process take place. Why did NBC do this? My opinion is that NBC is in the pocket of the Democrats and have had a sexual obsession with President Obama since he announced that he was running for President. NBC bends over to the left and their fast and furious use of the race card. NBC let their employee Al Sharpton or as I call him Al “Not The Sharpton Tool in the Shed” manipulate this story for his own political and ratings gain. Having NBC run Obama’s media campaign while GE owned the network than after the election, the CEO of GE becomes Obama’s Job Czar is as ethical as Zimmerman pretending to be a law enforcement official, getting in over his head, exercising poor judgment and then claiming self-defense, both are tragedies. NBC will always protect Obama and his liberal cohorts like Sharpton and their Agenda. I’m surprised Dateline hasn’t run a show about Obama’s struggle with Fox News called Mein Kampf with FOX. The producer who aired the edited called probably did so after he heard Obama describe Trayvon as his son and NBC has strict orders to protect the Obama Family. The Liberal Producer probably promotes the race card on a regular basis but the producer hypocritically probably didn’t realize that Trayvon wasn’t Obama’s son because the producer thinks all black people look alike. I’m surprised that with NBC’s poor handling of this story that the network hasn’t changed it’s name to the Negros Bullying Caucasians network. This is why we have to have the courts do their job and not let people be tried in the media ,otherwise networks like NBC will get out of hand and come after you and me and could go so far to report after seeing me do a shot of Tequila that a “White-Hispanic” shot an unarmed man.
