Obama’s negative campaigning against Romney and Obama’s use of Gay Marriage is a distraction from the economy

Now that Romney is the clear cut Republican nominee, The Obama campaign has started it’s attack on Romney and Romney has fired back, both throwing equal and incredible amounts of mud at each other. I haven’t seen so much mud thrown between individuals since John Candy got down to his manties and wrestled those chicks in Stripes. This campaign is already out of hand on a number of fronts, first financially, the billions of dollars that will be wasted on this campaign is disgusting considering the economic state our country is in. This country needs campaign finance reform now. Every American and Corporation should only be allowed to donate $500 each per year for all political races combined. I want to see candidates that can work within a tight budget and maximize their money. This will also cut down on the access to the White house based on the amount of your donation or bundle of donations. Bundling of donations should be outlawed as well. Starbucks has stopped all campaign contributions as a company and I wish all corporations would follow. I know that is not realistic but the amount donated can be controlled. The FCC can require the networks to donate more time for an increased number of debates between the candidates to get them exposure to the public. The second front that campaigns have gotten out of hand on is the negative campaigning and that can be controlled by containing the first front of campaign finance. The Mud-Slinging that already has occurred is absurd and a distraction from the real problems this country is suffering from while treating the American People as if they were complete idiots distracted by shiny objects, tabloid campaign ads, and smoke and mirrors. The Economy is the number one issue in this campaign. The Economy controls all aspects of our freedom whether it is defense, unemployment, or healthcare. The fact that the campaigns by Obama and Romney are putting the focus on such issues like dogs instead of economics is disturbing. Obama and the press made a huge deal about Romney putting his dog in a crate on the roof of his car during a trip. Who cares???? The press made it out like the scene in the movie Vacation where they forgot about the dog tied to the bumper and dragged it to it’s death. Romney’s dog was fine yet Obama’s campaign made that seem more important than the economy or even a nuclear Iran. Romney fired back that Obama ate a dog when he lived in Indonesia. Once Again, Who Cares???? I want to hear about job creation and tax reform. Now Gay Marriage is the David Copperfield of campaign issues, an illusion to fool the American People from noticing the slight of hand of our failing economy. Granted, Obama has to distract from his failure with the economy and I personally support Gay Marriage but it is not an issue of high importance in this election. It is the economy and Obama does his best Criss Angel to distract Romney from the Economy so he has to counter with his own White Tiger Agenda of Traditional Marriage. It’s a joke and if the economy is not the focus and Gay Marriage is, then the Gays will eventually be allowed to be married but they will be registered at the Salvation Army Thrift Store for their Weddings. Biden pulls a Big “F”ing Deal and forces Obama to come out publicly for Gay Marriage and then they have to bring out the story they Romney allegedly bullied a Gay Man dredging up a 47 year old story that Romney and some friends pinned down an alleged gay male student in high school and cut his hair and made the guy cry in 1965. Once again who cares, if that did happen, it happened before I was born and if Romney isn’t going to Lady Gaga concerts today attacking Gays it is irrelevant and another weak attempt by Obama to distract from real problems or maybe Obama is submitting a script to the TV Show Glee, because you put a Slushy in Romney’s hands instead of scissors and that’s what you have, an episode of Glee. The alleged victim’s family denies it happened and the victim is long dead which I’m surprised the Obama Campaign didn’t try to pin that on Romney, so we will never know what happened and once again who cares? It was high school. Who didn’t do stupid stuff in high school? Romney says he didn’t remember but apologized anyway, who cares; let’s deal with issues in the here and now like jobs. Bullying is wrong but at least if it did happen it shows Romney finally has some sort of a personality or bad boy in him that could be used to bully China and get our economy back on track. Maybe Romney can pin down our federal government and do some budget cutting. The bottom line is that Gay Rights are important but not as important as the economy. Obama will continue his ridiculous attack on Romney that he is homophobic and the Romney campaign will counter with something ridiculous like Obama ate Gays as a kid while the American people suffer. I suggest that nobody donates to either candidate, do your own research, and get out and vote.
